Why in-person lessons

There's nothing quite like learning piano side by side

At Cleveland Music Studios in Central Florida, in-person lessons allow Cindy to work directly alongside each student — guiding hand position, adjusting technique in real time, and creating the kind of personal connection that keeps students motivated year after year. The studio environment is warm, welcoming, and filled with the energy of a teacher who genuinely loves what she does.

Hands-on technique guidance

Cindy can immediately correct posture, fingering, and hand position in person — building healthy habits from the very first lesson that set students up for long-term success at the piano.

A dedicated learning environment

Stepping into the studio signals to students that it's time to focus, explore, and grow. The in-studio atmosphere, complete with music games, resources, and a fully equipped piano, makes every lesson feel like a special event.

A relationship built in the room

The bond between teacher and student is at the heart of great music education. In-person lessons allow Cindy's patience, warmth, and enthusiasm to come through fully — and that connection is a big part of why students return year after year.

Thirty years of turning students into musicians — and music into joy

Hi, I'm Cindy Cleveland, and music has been the thread woven through every chapter of my life. I earned my Bachelor of Music Education from Florida Southern College, spent years on the road as a keyboardist with Cleveland Carter, and have had the privilege of leading worship alongside my husband for nearly three decades. Music isn't just what I do — it's who I am, and that passion comes through in every lesson I teach.

At Cleveland Music Studios, I believe that learning piano should feel like an adventure, not a chore. I take time to understand each student's personality, goals, and learning style, then build a personalized plan to help them grow. From playful music games and ear training exercises to proper technique, sight reading, and performance preparation, every lesson is designed to develop a well-rounded musician. My teaching style is patient, gentle, and always looking for new ways to make the experience fun — because when students enjoy the process, they stick with it.

Parents in Central Florida have trusted me with their children year after year, and that loyalty means the world to me. Families often share that what they appreciate most is how I pass on my genuine passion for music to their kids — all while being kind, encouraging, and structured in a way that produces real, measurable progress. With a 90–95% student retention rate and over 300 students taught across 30 years, I'm proud to say that Cleveland Music Studios is a place where students don't just learn piano — they fall in love with it.
